Description
Beautiful combination of a Morpho Didius butterfly, an Owl Moth (Codigo Orleas) and a Morpho Marcus butterfly set in a double glass frame. Frame comes ready to hang and measures approx 15″ tall x 7″ wide.
All of these specimen have “eyespots” on the underside of their wings. These eyespots are a form of automimicry, (when a spot on the body of an animal resembles an eye of a different animal to deceive potential predators, OR to draw a predator’s attention away from the most vulnerable body parts).
